Nicholas annonce son entrée dans un centre de réabilitation

Earlier today, with the support of his professional team, his friends, and his family, Nicky entered a rehabilitation facility in California to treat his depression, alcoholism, and substance abuse problems. He’s taking the steps necessary to better his health and give himself, and his fans, the gift of a healthy lifestyle.

He has been aware of his problems for some time- and with each new challenge, he gained a greater understanding of what needed to be done to overcome these obstacles and move forward with his life. Since his arrest last October, Nicky had tried several treatment methods- from therapy, to outpatient services- only to realize recently that he needed to take an extended break and treat the underlying issues of his illnesses.

Nicky will not be attending any events during the months of June and July- but has plans to return to the circuit in late summer after he has successfully completed his treatment program. We ask that this page be filled with positive messages as we support Nicky on his road to recovery. J'espère que tout cela l'aidera et qu'il pourra s'en sortir.. C'est quelque chose de très dur.. Mais j'espère vraiment que ça l'aidera er qu'il s'en sortira une bonne fois pour toute...

Nicholas Brendon is getting some professional help. The former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star is set to film an episode of “Dr. Phil” to discuss his struggles with depression and addiction.

“Nick is doing well and sends his love to you all,” a post on Brendon's Facebook page reads. “If you happen to be in the LA area on Aug 26, why not go to a Dr. Phil taping and show some of your love and support to Nick? Tickets are free. You just have to register!” The post links them to Dr. Phil’s website.

Brendon previously reached out to a different TV personality for help, "Celebrity Rehab" host Dr. Drew Pinsky.



The actor later indicated that Pinsky had gotten in touch with him. “Thank you @drdrew for your help. The struggle is real and scary,” Brendon tweeted the following day.

The 44-year-old, who is also known for his “Criminal Minds” role, has been open about his struggles on social media. According to posts on his Twitter, the star completed a rehabilitation program in June and checked back into another program just a couple weeks later, which he finished in July.



His rehab trips came after being arrested three times this year, according to People. He was arrested for allegedly trashing hotel rooms in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in February and in Tallahassee, Florida, in March. He was also charged with public intoxication and impairment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in May. TMZ reports that he punched a woman’s window with his bare hands in July right before his latest stint in rehab. Police were called, but no arrests were made.

In addition to his legal troubles, Brendon’s personal life also took a downturn. He split from his wife, Moonda Tee, after four months of marriage in February, E! Online reports.

Brendon's episode of “Dr. Phil” will likely get very personal, but the actor has not been shy about letting fans know what he is going through. Since his last trip to rehab, he has posted about going to AA meetings and asked fans for advice about depression.

Par contre, je me demande du coup s'il sera présent à la convention de Toulouse et celle de Bruxelles...

Je pige pas le truc de partir en cure trois mois mais de participer quand même aux conventions.. :/ C'est cool pour les fans hein, mais je suis pas sûre que ce soit forcément bénéfique pour lui.. :/

Bah ouais, c'est un peu bizarre, je ne comprends pas non plus... :/ Pour que ses cures soient réellement efficaces, j'imagine qu'il est mieux qu'il évite toutes les tentations, et les conventions sont pas tip top pour ça... Comme tu dis, c'est bien pour les fans, mais bon voilà.
