DirecTV is rounding up an impressive cast for its upcoming Neil LaBute drama Full Circle.

The 10-episode series about a group of 11 people whose lives are intertwined will feature an all-star cast including Bones' David Boreanaz, Private Practice's Kate Walsh, Harry Potter's Tom Felton, The Killing's Billy Campbell, Friday Night Lights' Minka Kelly, Nip/Tuck's Julian McMahon, Akeelah and the Bee's Keke Palmer, Devon Gearhart (The Wait), Noah Silver (The Borgias), Ally Sheedy (Welcome to the Rileys), Cheyenne Jackson (Behind the Candelabra) and Robin Weigert (Sons of Anarchy).

Each episode of the drama, which marks the small-screen debut of screenwriter and playwright LaBute (In the Company of Men), will take place in a restaurant and feature a conversation between two characters, with one of the character's story lines carrying over into the next episode through a conversation with a new character. That character will then be featured in the following episode. The process will continue until the final episode.

Characters passing the torch from one episode to the next include Tim (Felton), an exchange student from England, and his love interest Bridgette (Kelly); Bridgette’s husband Stanley (McMahon), a charismatic and intense entertainment lawyer; Stanley’s client Jace (Boreanaz), a famous comic known for his outlandish behavior; Chan’dra (Palmer), whose life was irrevocably altered as a result of a joke that Jace took too far; Cliff (Gearhart), a classmate Chan’dra secretly has a crush on; Cliff’s father, Trent (Campbell), and his wife, Trisha (Walsh); Peter (Jackson), an aspiring singer who intrudes on a special night between Trent and Trisha; Robbie (Silver), Trisha’s student who purports an unusual connection to his teacher, and his mother Celeste (Sheedy), with whom he shares an unnerving bond. The final episode brings the characters together, with the unexpected addition of one (Weigert), for an explosive ending that is sure to change all of these characters' lives irreparably.

Full Circle hails from exec producer/director Nick Hamm (Rogue) for Momentum TV, the scripted arm of Chris Weil's Momentum Entertainment. LaBute will write and co-executive produce. Production will begin shortly in Los Angeles for a fall 2013 premiere on DirecTV's Audience Network.

David Boreanaz and Julian McMahon on DirecTV's Full Circle

While on hiatus from Bones, David Boreanaz went Full Circle. The actor is one of several stars who signed on to take part in the TV debut of playwright/director Neil LaBute (In the Company of Men).

LaBute's Full Circle, which runs this fall on DirecTV's Audience network, revolves around 11 people whose lives turn out to be intertwined. Boreanaz stars as Jace, a foul-mouthed comedian who makes a joke in his act that turns into a national uproar. In the scene depicted in this photo, Jace's lawyer Stanley (Julian McMahon) sits down with him to figure out crisis control.

Each episode of Full Circle follows a conversation in a restaurant between two characters. One of those character's storylines carries over into the next episode, via a conversation with a new character. And so on, until the final episode, which brings all the characters together and reveals the string that connects them.

"I was intrigued that he was behind it," Boreanaz says of working with LaBute. The actor was attracted to LaBute's "honest and bold characters" and says the amount of dialogue he had to learn was like going to actor boot camp. "It was intense," he says. "It was kind of like David Mamet on steroids."

Boreanaz calls Jace "a bit of a wild card and something I thought would challenge me professionally. It was daunting but at the same time very rewarding. The challenging part with Neil's words, [is] you don't just want to say them. There has to be a rhythm and a rhyme and a purpose... For me it was a personal process of endurance and sacrifice and having fun and putting it out there."

Boreanaz says he also enjoyed the rehearsal process. "Working with Julian was great, when we were shooting the piece and able to free ourselves from the words and really become the characters. After takes we'd crack up. When you have that type of connection with a fellow actor while doing a piece like this, it makes it even more gratifying."

In another episode, Boreanaz stars opposite Keke Palmer (Akeelah and the Bee). Other actors appearing on Full Circle include Minka Kelly, Kate Walsh, Billy Campbell, Cheyenne Jackson, Robin Weigert, Devon Gearhart, Tom Felton and Ally Sheedy.

Full Circle premieres Oct. 9 on the Audience network, and all 10 episodes will be available immediately on DirecTV Everywhere, which allows customers to watch television on their smartphone, tablet, or computer.
