Marsters first came to the attention of the general public playing the popular character Spike, a platinum-blond English vampire in the television series Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and its spin-off series, Angel.
Since then, he has gone on to play other science fiction roles, such as the alien super-villain brainiac on Smallville and the omnisexual time traveler Captain John Hart in British science-fiction show Torchwood.
In 2007, Marsters appeared in a supporting role in the mainstream movie P.S. I Love You and as the main antagonist, Piccolo, in the 2009 fantasy adventure film Dragonball Evolution.
This Sci-fi acting legend will greet fans at Austin Comic Con, a pop-culture festival celebrating the best in comics, movies, TV, celebrities, video games, collectibles, toys and so much more.
James is already signed up for Chicago, Mid-Ohio, Austin and Atlanta Comic Cons!

| Que du beau monde !!!!  C'est vraiment dommage que ce genre de conventions ne se déroule jamais (ou presque jamais ) en France !  |

Buffy Is Back! Eight Cast Members To Attend “BuffyFest” At Wizard World Chicago Comic Con
Eight actors who have portrayed beloved characters in “Buffy: the Vampire Slayer” will appear at the Wizard World Chicago Comic Con, August 11-14, 2011, at the Donald E. Stephens (Rosemont) Convention Center.
James Marsters, Julie Benz, Charisma Carpenter, Felicia Day, Nicholas Brendon, Kelly Donovan, Mercedes McNab & Clare Kramer are all scheduled to appear at the “BuffyFest Chicago.” Similar events at other Wizard World shows have been huge hits.
The eight guests will greet fans and participate in panels and discussions that highlight their roles in popular Joss Whedon television series such as “Buffy: the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel.” |
