Eliza : la future Wonder Woman ?

The DC Comic Wonder Woman is being made into a movie finally! Lynda Carter has stated that she will accept a cameo role in the new movie. Some of the actresses that have been thought about for the role are Sandra Bullock, Megan Fox, Eliza Dushku, and Beyonce Knowles. The movie which will be released some time in 2011, is being produced by Joel Silver and Leonard Goldberg. Warner Bros. and Silver Pictures are very excited to get started on the project. Beyonce has stated also that she would love to play the role of a super hero. It has been a long and winding road to get this particular movie off the ground and into production.

As we already know, Boston Legal creator David E. Kelley has been hired by Warner Bros to adapt the Amazon princess to the small screen. Many actresses have been linked to the role over the years but Eliza Dushku has been rumoured to be in the running for both the big and small screen versions of the character. In a recent interview with UGO, here’s what the actress had to say about it:

“Well, someone is going to have to pick between me, Megan Fox and Beyonce. Those are, I think, the three names that always circulate with the Wonder Woman rumor.”

“I think once somebody gets a clearer vision of the Wonder Woman that they want, then maybe we’ll see what happens with those rumors.”
